Karen L. McCamant

As a certified Advanced Legal Nurse Consultant, Karen McCamant is available now to review, interpret and analyze medical records to help establish case merit. Karen will verbally report findings, or prepare various written reports including chronologies, timelines, calendars, and short or long essays. Karen McCamant can organize, tab, and paginate medical records, assist with deposition or trial, prepare demonstrative evidence, and act as, locate, or prepare expert witnesses for your medically related cases in which there is a health, illness, or injury component. Karen also brings experience of having been deposed as both an expert and a fact witness in medical malpractice cases. Karen McCamant has been a registered nurse since 1997, when she graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University. She obtained her masters and board certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health from the University of Delaware in 2006. Karen also holds a degree in psychology from Vassar College. Karen has worked as a nurse leader in three hospitals, and her experience includes nursing clinical education, critical care, ambulatory surgery, and behavioral health. She has expertise in developing clinical nursing procedural guidelines and hospital policies, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based best practices, and professional writing for publication.
